Calculator results are estimates

A calculation is based only on the values you enter and the formula described on the tool page. HikeBoard does not know your employer's rounding, payroll structure, calendar, holidays, notice policy, approval process, bonus conditions, or definition of salary. Two companies can use the same words and calculate them differently.

Date tools may count calendar days, weekdays, Sundays, or endpoints in the way stated on that page. Your employer may count from acceptance or approval instead of submission. It may exclude holidays, treat a last working day differently, or apply local rules. Confirm any date that affects resignation, release, joining, pay, or benefits directly with the relevant organisation.

Your documents win

Your signed offer letter, employment agreement, HR policy, payslip, official email, and applicable law are more authoritative than a HikeBoard result. If those sources conflict with the site, do not rely on the site. Ask the employer for a written explanation or obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

No decision recommendation

A higher percentage or CTC does not by itself make an offer better. Variable pay may not be guaranteed, benefits can differ, and a monthly CTC conversion is not take-home pay. HikeBoard does not tell you to resign, negotiate, reject, or accept an offer. Use the result to frame a question, not as the only reason for an employment decision.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep formulas clear and functioning, but errors, omissions, or temporary interruptions can happen. Content may become outdated. HikeBoard gives no guarantee that every result is complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, use of the site is at your own risk and HikeBoard is not responsible for a loss caused by relying on an estimate.
